Subject: [amsat-bb] Re: Request for a file of amateur satellite frequencies
Hi All, Many thanks to everyone who responded to my plea! As a result of it, with JE9PEL's agreement, we have created an abstract from his master list of all amateur satellites so as to include just those ones that are active. It is available here http://www.uk.amsat.org/?page_id=11251 The benefit of this is that it fits nicely on a single sheet of A4 paper and can therefore easily be stuck on the wall of the shack right behind the radio. I know that this is an old fashioned concept but it has already helped me work out the likely spacecraft when looking at signals showing up the waterfall display on the screen using an FCD+ and SDR# The challenge will, of course, be to keep it uptodate and hopefully someone will be willing to take on the task of setting up and maintaining a proper database. best wishes Graham G3VZV
